Spring Fever is in the Air!

You can feel it—spring is waking up the world! I just got a reminder to drive carefully this evening because amphibians are crossing the roads and heading to vernal pools. The sound of spring peepers is in full force, and turtles and salamanders are on the move—a sure sign that the season has arrived!

In the West Virginia woods, where we have a cabin, bear warnings are also starting to pop up. It’s time to secure that trash because they’ll be waking up soon! Meanwhile, flowers are blooming, birds are singing, and that irresistible urge to throw open the windows and declutter is kicking in.

As the days get longer and the sun shines brighter, our bodies naturally produce less melatonin—the hormone that regulates sleep. Just like a bear leaving its den, we shake off our winter slumber and suddenly feel a surge of energy!

This newfound motivation often turns into a strong desire to clean, organize, and refresh our spaces. Closets get tackled, shelves get dusted, and that pile of mail from last fall finally gets sorted. The combination of sunshine, fresh air, and extra daylight can transform us into organizing machines!

So, if you find yourself craving a cleaner, more organized space, embrace the spring fever! Make a checklist, put on your favorite tunes, and let that energy flow. Whether it’s rearranging furniture, donating old clothes, or sprucing up your garden, use this momentum to refresh both your home and your mind.

Spring cleaning isn’t just about tidying up—it’s about creating a space that feels light, fresh, and energizing. If you’re ready to harness that spring energy and get organized, let’s chat! I’d love to help you turn that motivation into action.

Happy 1st day of Spring! 🌿✨
